No ads, no trackers, no analytics cookies, and nothing to accept. This page says what we keep and why.

What stays in your browser

A random player ID, your taps, your nickname and settings like your country filter and recent searches, so your progress survives a reload.
Clearing this site's data in your browser resets all of it. None of it is used for ads or shared with anyone.

Your random player ID, nickname, taps, streak and the lands you tapped, so the map, the leaderboards and top tapper lists work.
Your country, to rank lands and players by country. We don't save your IP address.
Signals about your tapping, used only to keep the game fair.
If you tap Save me: the public key your device creates for taps.land. Your fingerprint, face or device PIN never leaves your device.
If you turn on daily reminders: your browser's push address, used only to send those reminders. Turning them off deletes it.
An email you leave with a feature idea is used only to reply, and one left on the waitlist only to tell you taps.land is open.

When you verify a site we keep the domain, how you verified it and the owner session on this device.
If you verify with Google, we use read-only Search Console access once to confirm you own the site and keep no Google data afterwards. Our use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Visits we send to your site are counted without knowing who clicked.
If you buy anything, Paddle.com handles the payment as our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle keeps your payment and billing details under its own privacy notice; we only receive what you bought and its status.

Service providers that host taps.land and keep it safe, under contracts that let them use the data only for that.
Google, only if you verify a site with Google.
Paddle.com, only if you buy something.

We don't sell data, and we don't use advertising or analytics services.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data through the Reach form at taps.land/?about=suggest. When we delete your player, your nickname and history go; taps already on lands stay as anonymous totals.
Owners can remove their site from its owner page at any time.
You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
